Description

Early 19th century with later alterations. Single storey with basement to rear (ventilation holes to principal elevation), 3-bay house, part of a wider terrace with slightly recessed bay to right adjoining No 13. Finely droved ashlar, polished ashlar dressings; rubble to rear. Band course between ground floor and ground level, moulded impost course to window lintel, cornice and blocking course; openings in segmental-arched recesses.

NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 4 steps with original cast-iron handrails to panelled door at centre, plate glass rectangular fanlight above. Windows to flanking bays. Flush panelled door (at ground level) to recessed wall to outer right (moulded string course, cornice and blocking course).

SE (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen fully, 1994; no extensions.

Plate glass timber windows to principal elevation. Slate piended roof; harled/rendered and coped wallhead stack to NE; harled and coped wallhead stack to SW.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALLS: droved ashlar with coping.
