The building features five by six bays, along with a two-storey, four-bay addition to the north on Wellington Street. The first bay from the south and the second bay at both the ground and first floors on Wellington Street are blind.

The exterior is finished in painted ashlar, with a droved finish at the basement level. There is a central Ionic portico on West Regent Street, which is positioned above steps that lead down to the basement area. The entry to No. 129 Wellington Street has a consoled, corniced design.

The windows are sash and case, primarily with 12-pane glazing. The basement windows have cambered heads, while the ground floor windows feature cornices, moulded cills, and panelled aprons on West Regent Street. There is a cornice on the first floor, as well as a main cornice and dormers.
