Glengowan is a villa located at 196 Nithsdale Road in Pollokshields, Glasgow, built between 1880 and 1890. This two-storey, three-bay building features gothic details and has an L-plan front. The walls are constructed with stugged coursers and polished dressings, showcasing moulded and sculptured details, particularly at the eaves.

The villa includes arched openings, a hood-moulded inner doorway, and a two-storey canted window on the left gable. To the right, there is a projecting ground floor window with a window above it that has a gabled dormer head positioned above the eaves level. The windows are fitted with plate glass glazing, and the building has skews and end stacks, all topped with slate roofs.

There are recessed low wings on either side of the main structure, with a modern garage adjoining the right wing. The property is enclosed by a stepped boundary wall that leads to the street, featuring octagonal gatepiers with pyramidal caps.
