Duncraggan, 73 Blairbeth Road, Rutherglen, Glasgow

Duncraggan is a villa built around 1900, located at 73 Blairbeth Road in Rutherglen, Glasgow. This two-storey building features mullioned and transomed windows, constructed from stugged ashlar with polished dressings. The upper lights are multi-paned, and the villa has a mutule cornice and piended slate roofs adorned with red ridging tiles.

The main range of the villa consists of two bays, with an elliptical off-centre flight of stairs leading to the first floor. To the right, there is a full-height canted bay with a balustrade above the main cornice, which encloses a facetted roof. There are recessed bays on either side, with the wider bay on the left featuring a doorway set within a rusticated bolection-moulded architrave. The chimney stacks have deeply projecting caps.

Additionally, there is a low boundary wall along the street, complemented by rusticated circular gatepiers that have shaped caps.
