Stoneleigh, 81 Langside Drive, Glasgow

Stoneleigh is a two-storey villa with an attic, built around 1905 in the style of H E Clifford. The exterior features stone cleaned rock-faced ashlar with polished dressings, along with mullions and transoms. It has a red-tiled deep-eaved piended roof and sash windows with small-paned upper panels, complemented by tall chimney stacks.

At the front, a canted window protrudes through the eaves, with a hood moulded mullioned low window to the right. The south flank, nearest to the gate, has a curved bow, with the main entrance located beyond it at the first floor on an open loggia. The rear includes a large stair window with steps and a low wing that contains a garage.

There is a low boundary wall along the street, featuring decorative blocks at the corner with Laggan Road. The gatepiers on Langside Road have projecting caps and are accompanied by wrought-iron gates.
