Description

99 Springkell Avenue is a large two-storey and attic villa built by H E Clifford in 1903/04, featuring English Tudor ornamentation. The exterior is made of stone-cleaned ashlar, with most windows being mullioned and consisting of both plate glass and small panes. On the right side, there is a wide and asymmetrical advanced gable that includes an asymmetrically-placed mullioned and transomed window. The entrance is located in a re-entrant angle where the main roof sweeps down. To the left, the building has a jettied section above the ground floor, which is gabled and features timber framing with white stucco. The roofs are covered with red tiles, and there are plain chimney stacks.

The property is enclosed by a stepped low boundary wall along the street, and the gatepiers are topped with gabled caps.
