Description
This is a two-storey villa located at 96 Springkell Avenue in Glasgow, built by H E Clifford between 1903 and 1904. The villa features mullioned and transomed windows and is situated on a corner site with two front elevations. The upper lights of the windows are small-paned, and the building is constructed from stugged and snecked ashlar with polished dressings. It has broad-eaved, steep-pitched slate roofs. The facade facing Springkell Avenue has two bays, with the right bay being larger and canted. There is an arched doorway on the eastern flank leading to Albert Drive, set within an asymmetrical gabled bay. The lower northern wing complements the overall design. Additionally, there is a boundary wall that steps down to the street, with gatepiers located at the road junction.
