Description
30 and 30A Sutherland Avenue in Glasgow is a large English Tudoresque villa designed by James Miller in 1892/93, which has been converted into two houses. The building features red ashlar stone with painted timber framing and white stucco. It has three bays and two-storey outer gables that are not identical. The windows are mullioned and have transoms, while the main roof slopes down between the gables over an open loggia, with the main door set within. The original glazing is mostly multi-paned, and there are dormers and tall chimneys. The roofs are covered with red tiles. The property is complemented by corniced square gatepiers and a low boundary wall along the street.
