Cairn O'Mount, 34 Sherbrooke Avenue, Glasgow

Cairn O'Mount is a large two-storey villa located at 34 Sherbrooke Avenue in Glasgow, designed by H E Clifford and built between 1910 and 1911. The villa features an English Tudor style, constructed from stone-cleaned snecked ashlar. It has broad eaves and steep-pitched red-tiled gabled roofs, with stack copes that are also tiled. The windows include a mix of mullioned and transomed designs, with various glazing patterns, mostly consisting of sash windows.

On the eastern side, there are a pair of outer gables linked by an open porch. The southern elevation has two projecting window bays, with one bay extending above the main eaves level. A conservatory extends from the western wall; it is octagonal in shape and connected to the house by a narrow link. To the north, there is a low service range with a piended and bell-cast roof. The villa is situated on a corner site, with boundary walls along each street front that step at the slope. There are two gateways, each with gatepiers, one located at the street corner.
