Description

Circa 1905. Large asymmetrical villa with Arts and Crafts detailing. 2-storeys plus basement on slope at S, also billiards room (?originally a conservatory); part harled (at upper level at N). stone cleaned snecked ashlar; 3-bay N entrance front has arched door with sidelights, oriel over, gabled left bay, chimneybreast corbelled out between floors and with ingleneuk at 1st floor (red tiles over latter suggest that the main roof was originally red tiled); stone and timber mullions and transomes, uppr lights multi-paned; deep bracketted eaves; bowed bay on E flank reaches above main eaves; corniced stacks; modern looking grey tiled main roofs.

Perimeter wall stepped to slope; plain ball finialled gatepiers, main entrance at street corner.
