The Grange, 33 Langside Drive, Glasgow

The Grange is an early 20th century villa located at 33 Langside Drive, Glasgow. It is two storeys high and has three bays, featuring full-height outer canted windows. The centre of the villa has a tripartite doorway adorned with an Art Nouveau flourish on the cornice, with a small window positioned above it. The exterior is constructed of snecked ashlar with polished dressings and multi-paned upper sashes. The roof is broad, eaved, and piended, covered with slate and topped with finials over the bays, along with end stacks. There is a low range that is recessed on either side of the building. The villa is situated on a corner site and is enclosed by a low boundary wall with decorative cast-iron railings, although the gate is missing. The gatepiers also feature Art Nouveau ornamentation.
