Description
Early 19th century, with later alterations and possibly incorporating earlier fabric. 2-storey, 3-bay flatted dwelling. Squared and snecked rubble with contrasting ashlar quoins, stone margins and eaves course. Stone mullions.
S ELEVATION: symmetrical. Step up to boarded timber door at centre with later bipartite windows in flanking bays, 1st floor with window at centre and bipartite windows in flanking bays (all bipartites altered).
N ELEVATION: windows to outer bays at both floors, centre undergoing alteration.
W ELEVATION: blank gable, blocked window in gablehead. Large boulder masonry at ground suggests incorporation of earlier fabric.
6-pane upper and 2-pane lower sashes to S, 16-pane glazing pattern and plate glass glazing to rear, all in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped ashlar stacks with some cans, ashlar coped skews with ropework scrolled skewputts.
BOUNDARY WALL: coped rubble boundary wall.
