Description
Kirk Style is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house located in an irregular terrace to the north. It is constructed from squared and dressed rubble with stone margins and features an eaves course.
The west elevation, which serves as the entrance, is symmetrical. It has a part-glazed timber door at the center, accompanied by a letterbox fanlight and windows in the flanking bays. The first floor has regular windows positioned close to the eaves.
The windows are timber sash and case, featuring a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes coped stone stacks with ashlar coped skews, scroll skewputts, and thackstanes. Additionally, there are cast-iron downpipes and a decorative rainwater hopper.
