Description

43 North Overgate is an 18th-century, two-storey, three-bay house that forms part of an irregular terrace. The exterior is finished in harl and rubble.

The principal elevation faces northeast and is symmetrical in design. The central bay at ground level features steps with ironwork handrails leading up to a two-leaf boarded timber door, which has a plate glass letterbox fanlight above it. There are windows in the flanking bays, and the first floor displays regular fenestration.

The windows are timber sash and case with a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with concrete pantiles, and there are brick stacks present.
