Description
2 Glamis Road is an 18th-century small two-storey house located next to No 35 North Overgate in Kinghorn. The building is harled.
On the southeast elevation, there is a part-glazed timber door to the left of centre at ground level, flanked by windows, with the left window being tiny. A curved forestair to the right of centre leads to a two-leaf timber door at the first floor, with another window close to the eaves on the left, and two traditional rooflights above.
The southwest elevation features a variety of openings, including a slightly lower gabled bay that projects from the original gable and has a stack. The windows include a 4-pane glazing pattern in a timber sash and case window, and a 6-pane top hopper type timber window. The roof is covered with pantiles and slate, and there is an ashlar stack that has been extended in harl, with coped ashlar skews.
The property is enclosed by high coped rubble boundary walls.
