Description

18th century. Small 2-storey, house adjoining No 35 North Overgate to NE (see Notes). Harl.

SE ELEVATION: part glazed timber door to left of centre at ground with windows in flanking bays, that to left tiny; curved forestair to right of centre leading to 2-leaf timber door at 1st floor, further window close to eaves at left, and 2 traditional rooflights above.

SW ELEVATION: variety of openings to slightly lower (possibly later) gabled bay projecting from original gable with stack.

4-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case window, and 6-pane in top hopper type timber window. Pantiles and slate. Ashlar stack extended in harl; coped ashlar skews.

BOUNDARY WALLS: high coped rubble boundary walls.
