Description
3 Eastgate in Kinghorn is a 2-storey, 3-bay house dated 1728. The exterior features dry-dash with stone margins.
The northwest elevation is symmetrical, with a deep-set timber door at the center of the ground floor, which has an inscribed lintel reading 'PGAD (HEART) 1728'. Above this door, there are three small square windows grouped toward the center, with additional windows in the flanking bays on both floors, all of which are positioned just below the eaves. The windows are fitted with plate glass glazing in timber sash and case style, while the first floor center has casement windows. The roof is covered with pantiles, and the house has dry-dash stacks with cans and ashlar-coped skews.
The property is enclosed by flat-coped rubble boundary walls.
