Description
1 Townhead in Kinghorn is an 18th-century, two-storey, three-bay house that features a high cellar. It is part of an irregular terrace and is situated on ground that slopes to the southeast. The exterior is rendered with painted margins.
The northeast elevation is symmetrical, with steps and ironwork railings leading up to a central, two-leaf boarded timber door. There are windows in the flanking bays, and the first floor has regular fenestration close to the eaves. The windows are made of plate glass and are set in timber sash and case frames. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there are coped harled stacks with cans, as well as ashlar-coped skews.
