Description

This cottage in Samuelston, built around 1835, is a single-storey structure with three bays. It features squared and snecked stugged sandstone ashlar with ashlar dressings, while the sides and rear are made of rubble. The entrance door is centrally located, with small windows on either side positioned just below the eaves. At the rear, there is a lean-to addition. The cottage has sash and case windows with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with red pantiles and has ashlar coped skews along with coped ashlar end stacks. In front, there is a rubble coped retaining wall that borders the garden.
