89 Ravenscroft Street, Edinburgh

This is a single-storey, three-bay cottage located at 89 Ravenscroft Street in Edinburgh, dating from the mid to late 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed ashlar with rubble on the sides and rear, featuring an eaves course. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door topped by a strip fanlight, framed by a pilastered and corniced door surround with a blocking course above. On either side of the door, there are widely spaced windows that are timber sash and case with a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates and has ashlar skews and corniced end stacks. There are three traditional rooflights and one modern rooflight in the attic.

At the rear, there are rubble garden walls that include a stone arched overthrow, and a rubble retaining wall is present in the front garden.
