This is a mid 19th century single-storey, three-bay cottage, harled with red sandstone dressings. It features a central door with a four-pane strip fanlight, flanked by windows that sit close under the eaves. The windows are sash and case style with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey and red pantiles, and there are ashlar coped skews and coped ashlar stacks. A rubble coped retaining wall surrounds the garden.
