Description

This is a mid 19th century single storey, 3-bay cottage located at 12 Old School Road in Longniddry. The building is constructed from squared and snecked sandstone, featuring ashlar dressings and chamfered reveals. It has Tudor-arched openings, with a central doorway that includes a panelled door and a strip fanlight. On either side of the doorway are sash and case windows with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The cottage has overhanging, bracketed eaves, a roof covered in grey slates, and corniced ashlar stacks.
