16 Main Street, Longniddry

14 Main Street in Longniddry is a pair of identical single-storey farm cottages built in the earlier 19th century. They are terraced and feature three bays each, constructed from squared and snecked rubble with ashlar dressings. The doors are located at the center of each cottage, flanked by a small bipartite window to the left and a larger bipartite window to the right. The smaller windows have timber mullions and lying pane glazing, while the larger openings feature sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing. There is also a small window on the outer right of each cottage. The roofs are covered with grey slates, have straight skews, and are topped with coped stacks.
