Description

Crescent Cottage is a mid-19th century single-storey cottage with a rectangular plan, featuring three bays. It is constructed from sandstone and whinstone rubble, with ashlar margins and dressings. The eaves are advanced and bracketted.

On the south elevation, there is a central two-leaf boarded door with windows on either side. The cottage has timber diamond-paned casement windows. The roof is covered with graded grey slate and has a piended design, with lead flashings. Sandstone octagonal ridge stacks and octagonal cans complete the roof structure.
