Description

Roselea is a mid-19th century single-storey cottage with a rectangular plan, featuring three bays. The exterior is constructed of whinstone and sandstone rubble, accented with red and pink sandstone margins and dressings. The eaves project and are supported by brackets.

On the southeast, or main elevation, there is a central two-leaf boarded door with windows on either side. The cottage has timber diamond-pane casement windows. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a piended shape, with lead flashings. Sandstone octagonal ridge stacks and octagonal cans complete the roof design.
