Description

Mostyn Cottage is a mid 19th century single storey, three-bay rectangular-plan cottage that has undergone modern refurbishment. It is constructed from whinstone and sandstone rubble, with sandstone margins and dressings, and features projecting bracketed eaves.

On the southeast (main) elevation, there is a central two-leaf boarded door flanked by windows. The windows have replacement sandstone surrounds and are leaded casement style. The roof is covered with grey slate and includes lead flashings, as well as octagonal ridge stacks with octagonal cans.
