Description
Yewbank Cottage is a mid-19th century pair of terraced cottages that were restored in 1993. The building is single storey with a rectangular plan and features four bays with projecting eaves. It is constructed from whinstone and sandstone rubble, accented with pink sandstone margins and dressings.
The main southeast elevation includes two central windows and 2-leaf boarded doors at the outer bays. Each end elevation has a central window. The street-facing elevation displays a plaque that reads, "Commemorating the restoration of Luss village 3 July 1993."
The cottages have timber diamond-pane casement windows and a graded grey slate roof with lead flashings. Each cottage is topped with a pair of octagonal corniced stacks that have octagonal cans.
