Description

Late 18th century with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular- plan house (incorporating small single storey cottage to N); forming part of terrace of houses and cottages. Random rubble (formerly harled); ashlar margins renewed in concrete to enlarged windows at ground.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: door to centre with later lean-to porch. Enlarged bipartite windows at ground, 3 1st floor windows close to eaves.

E (REAR) ELEVATION: 3-bay. Central lean-to brick porch; flanking windows. Central stair window above porch; small windows closes to eaves to outer bays. Pantiled cottage adjoining to right with timber and glazed door off-centre left; central Velux roof-light.

INTERIOR: altered to accommodate children?s nursery; ground floor linked to cottage to N.

12-pane timber sash and case windows to W; 4-pane timber sash and case windows to E. Pitched roof; renewed red pantiles; ashlar coped straight skews; ashlar coped stacks; circular clay cans

BOUNDARY WALLS: low ashlar coped rubble retaining wall to W (road) elevation; rubble coped random rubble boundary wall to SE.
