Description

Early to earlier 19th century, minor alterations. 2 storey with attic, 3 bay house. Ashlar front, squared and coursed rubble sides, squared and snecked rubble rear, raised ashlar quoins. Deep base course and eaves cornice.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical. 3 steps up to part glazed modern timber door at centre in corniced deep cavetto surround with modern slated canopy, altered windows in flanking bays; regular fenestration at 1st floor and slate blinded dormer windows over outer bays.

S ELEVATION: small, modern flat roofed porch at centre, window in bay to right and part blocked window to left; stair window at centre and windows to outer bays at 1st floor.

E ELEVATION: blank with blinded window at centre ground.

W ELEVATION: centre window to both floors.

4 pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows except 1st floor N, ground floor left, 1st floor right and porch to S all with modern top opening windows. Grey slates. Broad, tall coped ashlar stacks with some cans, ashlar coped skews.

OUTBUILDINGS: single storey, pantiled, rubble outbuilding with 2 timber doors and further opening to N and blocked window to E.
