Description
Greenfoot Cottage, located in The Square, Gifford, is an earlier 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house that is adjoined to the Town Hall.
The south elevation of the cottage is positioned to the west of the Town Hall and features white painted harling with painted ashlar dressings. The façade has three widely spaced bays, with a central door that includes a small-paned horizontal fanlight above a panelled door. There are windows in the flanking bays and one in each bay on the first floor, situated under the eaves. Additionally, there are two windows on the left side of the west gable wall. The windows are designed with a 12-pane sash and case glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there is an ashlar end stack with coping at the skews.
