Description

The Tower, located at 1 Garncaber Avenue in Lenzie, Kirkintilloch, is a baronial mansion built around 1900, possibly in the style of W F MacGibbon. The building is two stories tall with an attic and features a gabled range that projects forward on the left side. It has crowstepping and an oriel window above a splayed bay, along with Jacobean strapwork over the first floor.

In the center of the mansion, there is a four-story round tower with crenellation and a square lookout that rises above the entrance. The tower has strapwork over the first-floor window and also on the ground floor to the right. The entrance features a splayed round arch with roll-moulding. The west elevation includes an advanced gable on the left with strapwork over the first floor and a ground floor bow window adorned with ironwork cresting facing the garden.
