Description

14 Glenbank Road in Cadder is a pair of symmetrical, single-storey houses built around 1880, designed in the style of Robert Turnbull (Thomson and Turnbull). The houses feature wide, shallow gables that slightly advance in the outer bays, which flank the central entrance bays. The exterior is constructed from coursed, bull-faced masonry with ashlar dressings. Each outer bay has 3-light arcaded windows, which are accompanied by similarly detailed blind openings and angle pilasters. The roofs are covered with slate, and there are stacks on the side walls topped with decorative chimney pots.
