Description
Warwick Croft, located at 10 Heriot Road in Lenzie, is a double Thomsonesque Greek villa built around 1875, possibly designed by Alexander Thomson or Turnball and Thomson. The building features two elevations that meet at the corner. The elevation facing Heriot Road is two storeys high, constructed with droved masonry and adorned with ashlar dressings, and has advanced ends. The roofs are slate, hipped on the left side and pitched on the right.
On the ground floor, there is a bow window to the right, while the centre of the ground floor and the upper left feature pilastered mullions. The first-floor window on the right has inclined sides. A porch is set back on the right side. The elevation facing Alexandra Road includes a ground floor bay window with discs incorporated into the entablature.
