Description

This is a two-storey ashlar villa located at 34 and 36 Victoria Road in Lenzie, dated 1871. The building features a splayed window in the center and an Italianate tower set back to the right, which has a pilastraded lookout and a weathervane. The roofs are hipped and covered with slate, and there are bracket eaves. The first floor has round-headed windows, which are paired to the left and feature columnettes, incised voussoir treatment, and window-box holders. There is a blind chip-carved arched head on the side of the tower. Original gatepiers are present at the left-hand driveway only.
