206 King Street, Broughty Ferry, Dundee

This mid-19th century building at 206 King Street in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, features two stories and an attic, with a three-bay design. It is constructed of rubble masonry with long and short dressings and has a slate roof.

On the King Street elevation, the ground floor is painted and includes a two-leaf panelled door flanked by shop windows, with an additional door on the right. There is a band course at the level of the lintels. The first floor has three 4-pane sash and case windows with painted margins and a cill course. An off-centre canted dormer with a corner-piended roof is located on the left, while a skew with a skewputt and a coped ridge stack is positioned on the right.

The Ambrose Street elevation features a central margined door with a transom light and a modern door. To the left are two-pane windows, and to the right, a door is partially blocked to a window with a short band course above. The first floor also has three 4-pane sash and case windows with painted margins. A canted dormer is situated on the left, and on the right, there is a shouldered and coped wallhead stack with three identical moulded cans, along with two rooflights.
