Description

19 Ambrose Street is a single-storey, three-bay cottage dated 1816. It is constructed of coursed rubble masonry with long and short dressings, and has a slate roof with brick stacks. The central doorway has painted margins and a polain transom-light, with a lintel inscribed with the date '1816'. The four-light sash and case windows also have painted margins. Two modern skylights have been added, as have two moulded gable stacks. A single-storey extension to the left has been added, and is finished with harled render. The statutory address is 19 Ambrose Street, Broughty Ferry, Dundee.
