3 Ambrose Street, Broughty Ferry, Dundee

Dated 1811, 3 Ambrose Street is a single-storey, three-bay cottage located in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. The cottage is constructed of coursed and random rubble masonry with long and short dressings, and has a slate roof with brick stacks. The front elevation features a central door with a plain transom light, the lintel inscribed with the date '1811'. It has twelve-pane sash and case windows with advanced cills. The roof features coped skews, with concrete sections at the north side, and an anchor motif at the right skewputt. There are coped gable stacks and an off-centre attic window in the north gable, alongside two modern skylights. A uPVC rainwater goods system is visible on the eastern elevation. A freestanding gatepier stands to the right.
