Description
The quay and pier at Fisher Street in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, were built in 1872, with a later addition. They feature coursed ashlar rubble masonry and are paved with whinstone setts and flagstone margins. There is a reinforced concrete extension that extends seaward at a right angle.
The structure includes 21 bollards, mostly made of cast iron, with a similar tapered and capped design, although some are plain replacements. There are also four decorative cast-iron lamp standards, two of which have 'Dundee Harbour' inscribed on their ladder bars. Additionally, there are various sizes of mooring rings located on the quay and pier.
