Description

North Park, located on Haywood Road in Moffat, is a pair of two-storey houses built around 1875. The buildings are constructed from snecked whinstone with sandstone dressings. Each house features a symmetrical design with two central bays and a recessed outer bay that includes a projecting gabled porch, which has an elaborately carved head. The central block of each house has tripartite windows, a canted window with cast-iron brattishing on the roof in the gabled bay, and single lights on the first floor, with gabled windows in the center. The houses also have tall, shouldered chimney stacks and are topped with a slate roof.
