Description
1910 1912. 2 storey, near symmetrical, H plan villa with shaped gables. Bull faced red sandstone with ashlar dressings. Cill courses, dentilled cornice.
E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: round arched doorway to centre with large glazed fanlight. 2 windows off centre left at 1st floor rising into shaped gable with oculus. Asymmetrically arranged windows at ground and 1st floor.
S (GARDEN) ELEVATION: recessed central block with full width verandah, glazed roof, timber posts. 7 windows above at 1st floor. Advanced 3 bays end returns. Each with paired windows to right and left at ground and 3 windows at 1st floor.
W ELEVATION: doorway to far right, tripartite window to left, 2 windows at 1st floor above rising into shaped gable with oculus. Squared window bay at to left at ground, slate roof. Paired window at 1st floor above. 2 windows to outer left at ground and 1st floor.
N (REAR) ELEVATION: recessed central block with symmetrical arrangement of windows.
INTERIOR: not seen.
2 pane timber sash and case windows with variety of glazing patterns including 12 pane and 8 pane. Piended grey/green slate roof. Octagonal ventilators with lead roof. Coped wallhead sandstone stacks. Cast iron rainwater goods. Modern disabled ramps.
