Description
Gubhill is an earlier 19th century farmhouse that stands two stories tall and has three bays, along with a lower rear wing. The exterior is made of painted rubble with red ashlar margins and features a gabled porch. On the south elevation, bipartite windows are located on either side of the porch at ground level, while the first floor has three windows topped with gabled dormer heads. All the windows are lying-pane sashes, and the gables have saw-toothed skews. The farmhouse has corniced and offset end stacks, and the roof is covered with graded slates. The single-storey rear wing includes attics and has two gabled wallhead dormers with lying-pane sashes facing west.
