Description
Glenesslin is an earlier 19th century farmhouse that is wide and has two storeys, along with a rear wing. It is constructed from rubble and painted, featuring contrasting ashlar margins. The south elevation displays an unusual window arrangement: there is an inner bay with a central gabled porch and a single window on the first floor, flanked by one window at ground level (which is now bipartite) and two windows on the first floor. The windows are sash style with 4-pane glazing. The building has symmetrically-placed corniced stacks and a piended roof covered with graded slates. The rear wing has stepped roof levels and incorporates carved stone above the ground floor bipartite window.
