Description
Dalswinton Church, also known as Dalswinton Barony Chapel, is a simple, rectangular, 7-bay Gothic chapel dating from circa 1875. The entire building is faced with corrugated iron, with the exception of the timber barge boards and the gabled porch located at the south end of the long east wall. A small, simple metal spire rises over the south gable. The building features pointed window openings with cusped-headed lights, as well as a door. A large bipartite window with leaded glass is situated in the north gable, while a tripartite window of the same type is located in the south gable. The spire is faceted and finialed, sitting on a square base and containing a cusped-headed and louvered belfry opening on each of its four faces.
