Description

This is a circa 1790, single-storey terraced row of cottages located in Dalswinton Village. Originally built as nine three-bay cottages with central doors, the row has undergone modern alterations and is now converted into six cottages; some original doors have been replaced with windows. The cottages are constructed of painted rubble with painted margins, featuring boarded and glazed doors and mostly four-pane sash windows. Axial stacks are corniced and the roofs are slate, with straight skews at the gables. Dalswinton Village was built by Patrick Miller of Dalswinton.
