9 Main Street, Dalswinton Village

This is a circa 1790 single-storey terraced row of cottages located in Dalswinton Village. Originally comprising nine 3-bay cottages with central doors, the row has undergone some modern alterations and is now converted into six separate cottages. Some doors have been replaced with windows. The cottages are built of painted rubble with painted margins. They feature boarded and glazed doors and mostly 4-pane sash windows. Corniced axial stacks rise from the roofs, which are slate-covered with straight skews at the gable ends. Dalswinton Village was built by Patrick Miller of Dalswinton.
