Description

Castlehill is an earlier 19th century farmhouse that stands two storeys high and features three bays. The building is constructed of whitewashed rubble with contrasting painted ashlar margins. The south elevation, which is the front, includes a later 19th century central porch topped with a gable that has a finial. The farmhouse has sash windows with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roof has straight skews and corniced end stacks, and it is covered with graded slates. There is a lean-to structure leading to the courtyard, and a stair window that has lying-panes.
