Description
Tundergarth Mains is an asymmetrical two-storey farmhouse built in the earlier to mid-19th century. The exterior is harled with ashlar margins.
On the north elevation, there is an advanced gable on the left side featuring off-centre ground floor windows. A north-facing panelled door with a fanlight is located in the re-entrant angle, and an upper window to the right breaks through the eaves and has a gabled dormer head. The windows are sash style with lying panes. The shaped skews and coped end stacks add to the architectural detail, and the roof is covered with graded slates.
The east elevation includes two two-storey bays, each with first-floor dormer heads, while a single-storey bay on the south side has a west-facing door.
