Description

Craig is a farmhouse that likely dates from the early 19th century. It is a two-storey building with three bays and features a rear wing. The exterior is made of roughly coursed rubble, accented with contrasting ashlar dressings.

On the southeast elevation, there is a central corniced square porch that includes a panelled door located in the re-entrant angle. The windows are 12-pane sashes, and there is an eaves and lintel band. The roof is piended, raised on the eastern side to match the gabled roof level of the rear wing. The rear wing has a two-bay west elevation, with a porch also in the re-entrant angle, and a lower range to the north beyond. The building has coped stacks and is roofed with graded slates.
