Description
Pennersaughs is a farmhouse built around 1840, featuring two storeys and three bays, with a two-storey rear wing that may be part of an earlier farmhouse. The exterior is constructed of stugged ashlar coursers with painted margins and includes a porch.
On the northeast elevation, there is a modern central door with a decorative fanlight, set behind a Roman Doric-columned porch that has a simple triglyph frieze. The windows are margined and fitted with plate-glass sashes, and there are end stacks on ramped bases. The roof is piended and covered with graded slates, and the flanks consist of two bays.
The west elevation of the rear wing is built from rubble and features two ground floor windows and a single small first floor window with 9-pane glazing. A modern garage is attached to the south gable. Additionally, there is a low, single-storey range at the southeast with a north-facing window.
