Description

Mein Bridge, built by Thomas Telford in 1826, is a road bridge featuring a single shallow segmental arch over the Mein Water. It is constructed from stugged pinkish ashlar and includes channelled and graded voussoirs. There is a band course below the parapet, which is gently ramped and splayed at the approaches. The bridge has slightly battered abutments and bull-faced coping.
