Description

Likely to be circa 1875. Single storey gate lodge. Stugged

ashlar with polished dressings and raised quoins. 3-bay

roadside elevation has canted window in advanced gable left

(gable to driveway similarly treated), door in re-entrant

angle with modern porch. Axial stack has pair square flues

linked by cornice; bracketted eaves; decorative shallow

barge-boards; slate roof. Octagonal gatepiers with caps,

cast-iron railed low quadrants, decorative timber and iron

gate.
